EastEnders, Carol Jackson will attempt to help Max Branning move forward with his life as they take a trip down memory lane.

Upcoming scenes will see Carol left horrified by the state of Max's house, prompting her to become increasingly concerned about her brother's wellbeing.

Although determined to support Max through his difficulties, Carol is left further concerned when she realises that he is behind on his mortgage payments.

Wanting to offer her support, a kind Carol suggests that Max moves in with her and rents his house out for a while.

Later, after reminiscing about their teenage years, Carol and Max decide to take a risk and go out for a ride on their dad's old motorbike. Can Carol help Max move forward?

Carol and Max prepare to go for a spin
Max won't be the only concern on Carol's mind next week after she overhears a suspicious conversation between Ian Beale and Cindy Williams.

The drama unfolds after Ian learns that his wife Jane has been paying Carol to look after Cindy following their recent disagreements.

After Carol grows annoyed at new redevelopment work on local flats, she calls a meeting with the locals but soon finds herself in a heated confrontation with Ian.

A defiant Ian has rallied other locals against Carol in order to support the building work but after he insults her family and situation, Carol snaps and drops the bombshell that Jane is paying for Cindy to stay with her.

Meanwhile, Cindy tells Liam she's been accepted to a sixth form college but they are interrupted by a livid Ian who tells her to stop tearing their family apart.

Ian later tells Cindy to go to the police about Bobby if she needs to, but they are unaware that Carol is listening. How much has she heard?
