Paddy has been acting weirdly since the night that Robert Sugden was shot,
leaving viewers to wonder whether he could have been behind the crime.
As
Aaron Livesy remains behind bars, Paddy does his best to
support a devastated Chas but it becomes clear that he is consumed with
his own guilt.
After Rhona suggests some time alone with a
struggling Paddy, he makes his excuses and heads to The Woolpack, where
he stays drinking for most of the day.
When Rhona later comes to
collect a drunken Paddy, he starts to apologise for what he has done to
both her and Chas. Although both Rhona and Chas assume that it's just
the drink talking, it is apparent that Paddy is harbouring a deeper
guilt.
