An
unknowing Cindy later confides in Lindsey that the message reveals a
woman is behind the murders and that she's going to the police with the
new information.
Knowing she needs to act quickly, Lindsey tampers with Cindy's pills,
causing her to become increasingly unwell as the change in her
medication takes effect.
When a fight later breaks out between
an erratic Cindy and Lindsey, Dirk and Mac have to pull them away from
each other and Cindy is eventually taken to hospital.
Once at the hospital, Cindy fails to get Dirk to believe that someone tampered with her medication.
Lindsey
then suggests that Cindy would be better going away for a while for
specialist care, threatening to call the police about Cindy's assault on
her if Dirk doesn't agree. Has Lindsey's manipulative scheming kept her
secret safe for now?
