As Father's Day arrives on Albert Square, tensions are running high as
Buster struggles to decide what to do, having intercepted
the results of a DNA test regarding Jade.
When
Buster and Dean start discussing fatherhood in the park, Buster takes
the opportunity to tell Dean the truth about the results, believing that
his son has the right intentions at heart.

After learning that he is definitely Jade's father, Dean then decides to
head over to The Vic, where Mick and Linda are celebrating returning
home with Ollie.
Dean's appearance ruins the happy occasion for the family, and an angry Mick soon forces Dean to leave.
Later,
Buster confronts Dean about his temper and warns him that social
services will bring up his past if he tries to get custody of Jade.

Buster's words have an impact on Dean and he finally cracks, realising that Jade is better off staying where she is.
However,
Shirley does not share the same opinion and later reveals that she is
going to get her grandchild back with or without the family's support.
